I have built my own steadicam, it was a bit of a nightmare getting it tuned, but it really works! I used parts from a Maclaren pushchair and a rucksack as well as hinges and bolts from a D.I.Y shop. A set of chest expanders was used as the stabilising springs, but I am looking for an alternative as these are too flexable.
